Sharing The Torch: Whole Therapy Steps up its Game

I’ve always believed that I could make a difference. Health is a gift. A strong body is a blessing. Living without pain is the goal.

Every day at Whole Therapy, we give that to people, and it drives me forward.

My goal in business is to have a team of teams who care as much as I do, so that together we can amplify our reach and help more and more people.

Why not sign an agreement at a muay thai class?

Today, I’m one step closer to that goal.

Lindsay Sara and I signed a franchise agreement last summer, at the height of covid-uncertainty. Our combined thought process was simply: This is either going to be an epic win, or an epic failure.

Originally we thought to open a third location in Barrhaven, but it wasn’t in the cards due to sketchy landlords.

In the end, we decided that Lindsay would take over our existing Lancaster Road location, to bolster our infrastructure as a company.

And today is the day it begins: as it turns out, a failure can be a win… you just have to f***ing persist.

On a business note, I’m ecstatic. I’ve worked hard this past decade to build a company I believe in, and a brand with a reputation for integrity and client-centred care. As a team, we have come together to help thousands of people, and we have grown as practitioners and as friends.

It’s so gratifying to watch my dreams become a reality, especially when I poured my heart into the foundation of this business. Sometimes that backfires. In this case, it didn’t.

On a personal note, I’m so fortunate to have met Lindsay, and to have her on board as a colleague and a friend. Not only do we share an affinity for spreadsheets, Bubly water, and hilarious memes, but we also share a desire to achieve, help, and persist in the face of adversity.

As it turns out, a failure can be a win… you just have to f***ing persist.

If you haven’t met Lindsay yet, I encourage you to take a pass by Lancaster and watch her in action. She and her team are already doing incredible things, and I can’t wait to see what she has planned for the future.

Here’s to the pursuit of big dreams, to changing the world, and picking ourselves up over and over again until we get it right!
