Loves to treat: Deep Tissue, Post-Concussion, and Energy Work
I love my job because:
I love to solve problems, and I find the human body fascinating. I became a personal trainer first, but I never knew how to deal with all of my clients’ sore knees, backs, and shoulders. I needed more education about the body and how it worked. Massage Therapy gave me the tools I needed to not only work the body out, but also to treat and prevent injuries. I graduated in 2006, and I still love every minute!
See me if:
You want to resolve your pain, maintain your muscles, and prevent future injuries.
I like to help you understand what is going on with your body, and why it is happening. Helping you gain clarity and insight into your body’s language not only empowers you in your own body, but it also helps you prevent future injury and pain.
I believe:
That pain-free is absolutely possible. As well, massage doesn’t have to hurt to work. In order for muscles to release, there has to be oxygen flowing, and one must be able to relax. If the pressure on the muscle is too intense, it’s counter-productive. My goal for my clients is to have them be a little tender after a massage… not feel like a truck ran them over.
