Chiropractic

The Ontario Chiropractic Association defines chiropractic as a “non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice a manual approach, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints.”

*Chiropractic appointments qualify for direct billing under most insurance plans.

An adjustment is just one tool in a toolbox of many.

A Healthy Nervous System

Chiropractic care is less about ‘cracking backs’ than it is about maintaining a healthy nervous system, spine, and joints.

Chiropractors use adjustments and manual therapy techniques to restore joint function and support the nervous system. In this way, they help keep your body working well without unnecessary drugs or surgery.

At Whole Therapy, if you’re lucky, you’ll also probably get a Dad Joke or two thrown into the mix. ;)

Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)

If you’ve been in a car accident, you know that there are immediate symptoms and delayed onset ones. Low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, and concussion are common. We frequently see clients whose pain increases after the initial accident.

Our MVA clients often have questions about the insurance process; it can be confusing! Rest assured, we will help you understand everything. Our online system minimizes the paperwork and allows for easier appointment tracking.

Concussion Treatment

Essentially, a concussion is an interference of brain function caused by a hit to the head.

Concussions and their symptoms can result in functional and psychological problems, and typically result in an impairment of neurological function.

There is a lot to know about concussion and post-concussion symptoms, but if you suffer from this problem, you’re better off coming and seeing one of our chiropractors, because reading this is likely hurting your head.
